L’Iran et le nucléaire … en 1968

Coupure d’un journal iranien de 1968 intitulée: “Un quart des scientifiques de l’Énergie Nucléaire d’Iran sont des femmes.” La photographie nous montre quelques-unes de ces femmes scientifiques Iraniennes devant un réacteur de recherche nucléaire de Téhéran.
Le programme nucléaire iranien a été lancé par le Shah d’Iran dans les années 1950 avec l’aide des États-Unis, puis de l’Europe. Après la révolution iranienne en 1979, le programme a été temporairement arrêté. Il fut rapidement remis en route, mais avec l’assistance de la Russie. Le programme actuel met en œuvre plusieurs sites de recherche, une mine d’uranium, un réacteur nucléaire et plusieurs installations de transformation de l’uranium qui incluent une usine d’enrichissement de l’uranium.
Depuis les années 1950, le gouvernement iranien assure que le seul but du programme est de développer la capacité de produire de l’énergie nucléaire afin de générer de l’électricité, et planifie de générer 6 000 MW d’électricité à partir d’énergie nucléaire en 2010. En 2009, l’énergie nucléaire ne contribue pas encore à la production d’électricité iranienne.

Voici une vidéo intéressante prise depuis un bus qui nous montre le grand nombre de forces de l’ordre, à pied et en moto, présentes aujourd’hui dans le centre de Téhéran. Puis, en apercevant un manifestant se faire arrêter, les passagers du bus commencent à huer, et scandent :
“Ce mois est celui du sang, Yazid est renversé”

Aujourd’hui et demain ont lieu en Iran les commémorations religieuses de Tassoua et de l’Ashoura, en hommage à la mort en martyr de l’Imam Hossein il y a 1300 ans, Imam adulé en Iran et symbole de la résistance contre le despotisme. Une nouvelle fois, l’opposition iranienne à la réélection du présidence Ahmadinejad a décidé de détourner cette événement officiel en manifestation contre le gouvernement iranien. D’autant plus qu’aujourd’hui, cette date tombe en même temps que le 7è jour suivant la mort du Grand Ayatollah dissident Montazeri, jour célébré dans l’Islam chiite. Ses funérailles, lundi dernier, avaient donné lieu à des affrontements entre opposition et forces de l’ordre. Je vous propose donc de suivre en direct, comme si vous y étiez, les manifestations qui frappent aujourd’hui le pays.

Selon les chiffres du gouvernement iranien, le bilan des manifestations qui ont suivi l’élection présidentielle de juin dernier serait le suivant: 4,000 manifestants arrêtés, 30 personnes tuées, environ 140 protestataires traduits en justice et 5 condamnés à mort. Selon un bilan non officiel, il s’agirait plutôt de près de 70 morts liées aux manifestations. Et le gouvernement iranien ne parle pas des prisonniers torturés et des femmes violées… Bienvenue au pays de l’Ayatollah Khameiny.

Statement of Iranian cartoonists on the 9th Tehran Cartoon Biennale

The recent presidential election in Iran and its aftermath found huge international coverage and attention.
As you may know, there was a huge and unprecedented turn-out in balloting, which was a sign of the Iranian people’s will to reform the current situation of the country. But the aftermath of the election was so desperately annoying that no free soul can ever close his eyes on it.
The same is true for the cartoonists. They have always accompanied people in portraying pains and in offering criticisms, in denouncing violence and in promotion of justice; and they have always called for peace. The same is true for the time being. The cartoonists feel an obligation to stand by people who have faced such unkindness.
We the cartoonists have always tried to laugh people out of pain and pressure. But how can one witness killing of brothers and sisters and still remain silent?
In such a situation, the 9th Tehran cartoon Biennale is on the way. Due to the post-election events, the cultural joy has totally disappeared from Iranian society. So we don not see any real interest in holding such a Biennale. In the current situation, we see our responsibility in a different perspective which does not necessarily include laughing and making laugh.
Due to this fact, we the undersigned cartoonists, declare that we would not participate in this international festival.
Previously, the festival has been held by cooperation and sympathy of professional Iranian cartoonists but this time, we would not cooperate or participate.

Toutefois, quelques sites Internet et quelques blogs ont rapporté la nouvelle suivante dans le passé, mais il ne m’a pas été possible de la confirmer. Je la publie donc ici puisqu’elle contredit l’affirmation du site iranian.com et vient compléter l’information disponible sur ce titre mystérieux:
Tintin à Téhéran

Un homme de 38 ans est passible d’une peine de deux mois de prison avec sursis pour avoir contrefait un album de Tintin et de le vendre sur le site Ebay. Il s’agit d’une version de Tintin dont le titre est “Tintin in Téhéran” et signé soit-disant Hergé. Deux cent de ces albums auraient été vendus sur le site d’enchère dont les bénéfices entre les années 2000 et 2006 auraient rapportés la somme de 1000 € à ce quidam.
L’homme en question pretend qu’il aurait acheté ces albums aux puces et sur internet et qu’il les aurait reproduit à plusieurs centaines d’exemplaires afin de les vendre. Moulinsart, la société qui gère les droit Hergé reclame 35 000 € de dommages et interêts et une publication judiciaire sous le grief que ces parodies portent atteintes à l’image de Tintin. La délibération sera rendue le 5 décembre 2007.

ملت غيور و سرافراز ايران اسلامي
حرکت عظيم و هوشمندانه شما در خلق حماسهاي ديگر با حضور 40 ميليوني به ميزان 85 درصد واجدين شرايط در انتخابات دهمين دوره رياست جمهوري رقم خورد بار ديگر عمق دلبستگي امت مسلمان و ولايتمدار ايران عزيز را به آرمانهاي معمار کبير انقلاب اسلامي حضرت امام خميني (ره) و بيعت آگاهانه از ولي امر مسلمين حضرت آيتالله خامنهاي مدظلهالعالي در پيش چشمان تحسينگر جهانيان به نمايش گذاشت و برگ زرين ديگري را بر صفحات کتاب قطور مردمسالاري ديني افزود.
انتظار ميرفت بعد از اين نمايش قدرت ملي و اسلامي، دشمنان کينهتوز سرعقل آمده با پذيرش واقعيت ايران مقتدر و يکپارچه راه تعامل منطقي مبتني بر اصول انساني در پيش گيرند، اما متأسفانه بار ديگر شاهد آن بوديم که استکبار جهاني به سرکردگي آمريکا و انگليس عليرغم شعارهاي عوام فريب به اصطلاح بشردوستانه و ادعاهاي رياکارانه مبني بر گسترش دموکراسي، در مقابل يکي از دموکراتيکترين انتخابات دنيا و اراده شما مردم آزاده تمکين نکردند و با دخالتهاي آشکار و بيشرمانه خود در امور داخلي ايران با طراحي و مديريت اغتشاشات و آشوبهاي پس از انتخابات، نقاب از چهره کريه خود برداشتند. البته عدهاي خود فروخته و گروهي بازي خورده نيز در داخل کشور وسيله دست بيگانگان قرار گرفتند و با اقدامات غير قانوني و هنجارشکن، زمينه فتنهانگيزي و شرارت را براي عوامل دشمن فراهم نمودند که منجر به وارد آمدن خسارت جاني و مالي فراوان به هموطنانمان گرديد و شيريني اين جشن واقعي را به کام همه تلخ نمود.
معالوصف همانگونه که مردم عزيزمان مطلعند با حضور به موقع و مقتدرانه نيروهاي خدوم و جان برکف انتظامي و امنيتي و بسيج مردمي، اغتشاشگران دستگير و آتشافروزيها پايان يافت و همچنين تعدادي از طراحان، هدايتکنندگان و عوامل ميداني اغتشاش نيز بازداشت گرديدند که دادگاه اولين گروه از عوامل ميداني آشوبها روز شنبه مورخ 5/88/10 برگزار خواهد شد.
لازم به ذکر است در بين متهمان اشخاصي هستند که از روي تصاوير به دست آمده از آنها در هنگام ارتکاب جرم توسط مردم بيدار و آگاهمان مورد شناسايي و بازداشت شدهاند. البته برخي از همدستان ايشان که در تصاوير وجود دارند و در حال حاضر متوارياند که مطمئناً به زودي با کمک مردم عزيز آنها نيز مورد شناسايي و به دست قانون سپرده خواهند شد.
اتهام اين گروه از متهمين به شرح ذيل ميباشد:
1- حمله به مراکز نظامي با سلاح گرم و سرد و بمبهاي آتشزا
2- حمله به مراکز دولتي و به آتش کشيدن آنها
3- تخريب اموال عمومي
4- ايجاد رعب و وحشت در بين مردم
5- ارتباط با گروههاي معاند و محارب مانند گروهگ منافقين
6- ضرب و شتم مأمورين انتظامي و امنيتي
7- ضرب و شتم شهروندان
8- تخريب اموال شخصي مردم
9- تهيه گزارش براي رسانههاي بيگانه و دشمن
10- توزيع شبنامه بر عليه نظام مقدس جمهوري اسلامي
در پايان يادآوري ميگردد که به زودي و پس از تکميل پروندههاي بقيه متهمين دادگاه رسيدگي به اتهامات آنان نيز تشکيل و طي اطلاعيههاي بعدي زمان برگزاري هر دادگاه و نتايج آن به اطلاع عمومي مردم عزيز خواهد رسيد.

First group of “rioters” will be put on trial on August 1st
IRNA announced today that the first group of protesters will be put on trial soon.
Tehran’s prosecutor issued a statement regarding the post-election events in Iran and announced that the first group among the “central agents of turmoil” will be tried on Saturday, August 1st.
According to the prosecutor, some of these agents were arrested by the security forces and the Basij and some were identified from photos taken at the riots and “as they were committing a crime.”
“Of course some their partners who are also in the photos are currently on the run but will certainly be identified soon with the help of the people and handed to the law.”
Tehran’s prosecutor listed ten charges that are going to be brought against the individuals in this group:
1. Attacking military centers with firearms and bombs
2. Attacking government centers and setting them on fire
3. Destroying public property
4. Creating terror among the public
5. Contact with militant and hostile groups like Mojahedin
6. Violence against the police and security agents
7. Violence against the people
8. Destroying people’s properties
9. Reporting for foreign and hostile media
10. Distributing materials against the holy regime of the Islamic Republic

I’m not a political activist or a theoretician. I judge the situation based on what I see and read in the news. And I’m stuck here with a proactive frightened feverish head that I can’t stop.
Last night nursing my bruised shoulder, I was thinking …
If we get the chance to stand up, if this movement is not suppressed at this stage, if things continue as they are… What I fear most is that, we get used to it.
That the world loses interest and this new shiny strange toy loses its novelty and glamour… then… like what happened to many other struggles for freedom in other places of the world, people would no longer even bother to follow the news, let alone supporting the cause…
We need to have a plan … we need stronger, more experienced leaders for the movement … we need the world to hear our voice and put pressure on the government to accept the will of the Iranian people.
Don’t let this fire die … let everyone know what goes on here …
